Megan Johnson

Megan was born in South Korea and was adopted at 7 months. She has had 31 surgeries for a facial disorder called hemifacial dysplasia.
Megan started Megan’s Mission when she was 10 years old. She now raises around $10,000 a year through her cider stand, public speaking, wristbands, ink pens and crocheted necklaces. She donates $300 every month to organizations that help the homeless and drug affected babies. Her biggest accomplishment is being able to get four families off the streets and into their own homes. She hopes to continue doing this.
Her newest book "Growing Up Different" was written to help stop harassment and teasing in the schools.
Megan graduated high school as the Valedictorian. She had a 4.0 for her high school classes but also did the Running Start College Program. So, she graduated high school with 55 college credits and a 3.98 in her college studies. She is now attending Oregon Health & Science University earning her Bachelor or Science in Nursing.
Megan was invited to speak at Prudential’s National Awards Ceremony at Seoul, South Korea.
